Katie (she/her) is a registered social worker and primarily works with adults experiencing various conditions including anxiety, depression, burnout, parenting stress, relational trauma, chronic anger, and grief and loss. Katie primarily practices from a place of inquiry, while synthesizing a variety of evidence-based approaches – narrative, internal family systems, somatic, and cognitive-behavioural therapies.
Katie considers the ‘whole-person’ when working with her clients and believes that all challenges are fundamentally symptoms of adversity that require resolution and/or healing.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and went on to complete a Master of Education in Educational Psychology at Western University and a Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor.
Katie ultimately aspires to provide the space to learn from and adapt to negative and oppressive experiences and the opportunity to build self awareness and learn new ways to regulate the mind and body.
